A few years ago, I was working with an ACO and a network of FQHCs on disability data collection. We were making progress. The organizations understood why collecting disability status mattered. Some were already asking patients, and some were ready to move forward with implementation. Then came the next question. "Do you need any accommodations?" Now, you would think that would be a natural follow-up. And it is. But that's also where we had to stop. Because what happens when
